Mörk Borg

I decided to participate in Sean McCoy's Dungeon23 event last year, but never got started. My ambition may have been too grand. I wanted to create a massive set of tables that could procedurally generate a multiversal mega-dungeon. Each realm or plane of existance would have its own tables and certain entries would link them to the tables for other realms, creating a vast and interconnected otherworld for the players to wander in (or try to escape from). I may be a year late but I've finally started the project. I'm using Mörk Borg for the underlying game system, but it should work well with any OSR or classic fantasy TTRPG. I'll be posting updates on the Dungeon24 facebook group and perhaps here as well when enough content is ready.

The Saint Butcher Class
Available on: DTRPG.

Relics are the miracles of a dead saint crystallized within their mummified flesh and sacred bones. Someone has to cut these holy treasures out of their corpses and distribute them to the faithful.

Why not make a bloody fortune while you're at it?

The Saint Butcher is a merchant who specializes in black market relics. Some break open tombs, others rob temples, a few track down holy prophets and befriend them, waiting for the right moment to plunge in the knife. The more deranged sort sample their own wares and get addicted to eating divine flesh. They gain sacred power, but it eats away their humanity until all that's left is a demon that glorifies Heaven and commits atrocities in the name of righteousness.

  • A new class for Mörk Borg.
  • Rules for minor and major relics.
  • A d6 table of Major Relics.
  • Two new angelic monsters who will probably devour the party.
  • Cover art I drew with a pen.
  • Lots of public domain art.
  • The ambiance of an illuminated manuscript.

The Saint Butcher Class is an independent production by Blasted Tower Games and is not affiliated with Ockult Örtmästare Games or Stockholm Kartell. It is published under the MÖRK BORG Third Party License.
